Our Mission

Here in Atlantic Canada, we are proud to present the first Girls STEM Up Conference this side of the nation has seen. The idea for this conference merged form the frustrations of young female students and the unacceptable statistic surrounding gender inequality in STEM education and the workforce.

Girls STEM Up will place a heavy emphasis on bringing together young female students and allies across Atlantic Canada to participate, learn, and share diverse views on leadership and empowerment within the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields. The aim is to foster allyship and create meaningful change within our society. Therefore, we welcome all those interested to come to the table to learn with us as we start this important conversation and show young women in STEM the unlimited opportunities their futures hold.
