Territorial Acknowledgement

Based out of Fredericton, NB, a city that resides along the Wolastoq (St. John river), Girls STEM Up acknowledges that we are located on the traditional unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Wolastoqiyik.

Indigenous Peoples’ histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our bright and diverse community. Girls STEM Up respects the Peace and Friendship Treaties under which we share our land with Indigenous Peoples.

We are committed to positive change under the Truth and Reconciliation Commission calls to action.
